Laser Tracker

A laser tracker is a portable measuring instrument that can measure in 3D volume for 70 mtr. Length from one position. It uses ADM (absolute distance measurement)/ laser interferometer (IFM) to measure distance, which is repeatable to 10 microns. Two precision angular encoders measure the positions in polar coordinates that data is converted to rectangular coordinates by CAM2 Q software.

Using laser tracker, we can eliminate human error in measurement and can achieve consistent accuracy and repeatability. We use CAM2Q & Polyworks software's for the precise measurement of many different geometric positions & shapes. These shapes can then be checked against user definable datum's for parallelism, concentricity and other GD&T parameters etc.
